Spearman

Spearman (also called "Yaritsukai" or spear user) is a silver-ranked adventurer in the Goblin Slayer anime/light novel series. He's widely regarded as the "Frontier's Strongest" in the frontier region and often partners with the witch (a powerful spellcaster).

He's a confident, somewhat cocky warrior who specializes in spear combat (with some minor magic ability) and has a lot of experience fighting various monsters. He tends to act bold and flirtatious (especially toward Guild Girl), and he starts off with a rivalry/jealousy toward Goblin Slayer—partly because Goblin Slayer gets more attention despite only hunting goblins and looking unassuming. Over time, he develops respect for Goblin Slayer and becomes more of an ally/friend.

In the anime (Season 1), he's voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (JP) and Kyle Igneczi (EN), and he stands out as one of the more capable and flashy high-rank adventurers compared to the more pragmatic Goblin Slayer.
