Minene Uryuu

Minene Uryuu (also spelled Uryu) is the Ninth Diary Holder in Future Diary (Mirai Nikki). She possesses the Escape Diary, which predicts all possible escape routes and options in dangerous situations, making her an expert at evasion and survival.

She is introduced as a ruthless, chaotic terrorist and skilled bomber with a deep hatred toward God and organized religion, stemming from a traumatic childhood where she lost her parents in a conflict she blamed on divine indifference. This fuels her anti-theist crusade.

Minene is a young woman in her twenties with long purple hair and violet eyes (she later loses her left eye in the survival game and wears an eyepatch). She starts off intimidating, psychotic, and highly tactical, viewing herself as a lone survivor who needs no one.

Over the course of the series, she undergoes notable character development, shifting from a pure antagonist to showing more complexity, forming unexpected connections, and becoming one of the more layered and memorable participants in the Diary Game. She's often seen as one of the standout characters due to her intelligence, resourcefulness, and evolving role.
