Kamado Ueshita

Kamado Ueshita (also known as the Eighth diary owner) is a character in the anime Future Diary (Mirai Nikki).

She is a large, unusually proportioned woman (with a notably oversized head and cartoonish features) who runs an orphanage called "Mother's Village" (or "Mother's Home") in Sakurami City. She acts as a caring, maternal figure to the orphans she has raised for many years, including characters like Marco and Ai.

Her Future Diary is the Blog Diary (or Propagation Diary), which functions as a server allowing selected orphans to access their own "Apprentice Diaries" that predict future events related to protecting her. She herself has no personal predictive diary entry.

Kamado is generally non-violent and has little personal desire to win the survival game or become a god, but her devoted orphans actively fight to protect her and help her succeed for the sake of creating a better world for children.

She's voiced by Hiromi Konno in Japanese and Monica Rial in English.
