Tsubaki Kasugano

Tsubaki Kasugano (also known as the Sixth or "Omekata-sama") is a key character in the anime Future Diary (Mirai Nikki).

She serves as the High Priestess and Oracle of the Omekata Religion (a cult-like group), where her followers revere her as the "Sacred Eye" due to her supposed clairvoyant powers. In reality, she has very poor eyesight and has spent most of her life confined to the temple for her protection.

Her Future Diary is unique: the Clairvoyance Diary (or Thousand League Eyes Diary), which takes the form of a long scroll rather than a phone. It allows her to see future events through the eyes and perspectives of her many followers, giving her broad surveillance and tactical advantages (though it has limitations when situations change rapidly or her followers' views are unreliable).

She initially appears as a polite, frail, gentle, and vulnerable girl who seems fearful and in need of protection. However, her personality has deeper layers shaped by a traumatic past, leading to a more manipulative, distrustful, and cunning side (especially toward men and potential betrayers).

She's one of the participants in the deadly survival game centered around the Future Diaries.
