Mao Nonosaka

Mao Nonosaka (野々坂 まお) is a supporting character in Future Diary (Mirai Nikki). She's one of Yukiteru Amano's classmates at his new school and a close friend of Hinata Hino.

Mao is portrayed as a gentle, polite, and cheerful girl who speaks courteously (often using honorifics). She's deeply in love with her best friend Hinata and extremely protective of her, to the point where her actions can become intense when it involves Hinata's safety or happiness. She constantly takes photos, with most focusing on Hinata.

She possesses an Apprentice Diary called the "Hinata Love (Love-Love) Diary," which predicts Hinata's future actions (similar to how Yuno's diary predicts Yuki's). This ties her into the survival game plot during the orphanage/school arc.

(She's a middle school student, around 14 years old, with long light purple hair and blue eyes in the anime adaptation.)
