Stark

Stark is one of the main supporting characters in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.

He is a young human warrior with a muscular build, red hair, and a somewhat timid yet earnest personality. Stark was the disciple of the late axe warrior Eisen (one of the original Hero Party members alongside Frieren, Himmel, and Heiter).

After Eisen retired to a quiet mountain village, he trained Stark for several years. Following Eisen's passing mention of Frieren in his stories, Stark eventually joins Frieren's new party on her long journey to see the places she once traveled with the Hero Party.

Personality-wise, Stark is:

• honest and straightforward
• easily embarrassed / flustered (especially around women or praise)
• surprisingly strong in battle
• deeply respectful of his master Eisen
• still quite young and inexperienced compared to his immense physical strength

He's frequently the "normal human" emotional anchor in the party, reacting to Frieren and Fern's more detached or eccentric behavior.

In short: the kind-hearted, powerful-but-shy axe warrior pupil of Eisen who travels with Frieren and Fern.
