Konro Sagamiya

Konro Sagamiya is a supporting character in Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai). He serves as the former lieutenant (and vice-captain) of Special Fire Force Company 7 in Asakusa, acting as a loyal right-hand man and close friend to Captain Benimaru Shinmon.

He is a former Third Generation pyrokinetic whose Ignition Ability once allowed him to ignite his shoulders and forearms for powerful attacks (like "Crimson Moon"). However, he overused his powers in the past to protect his town from a massive threat, resulting in a severe case of Tephrosis — a condition that charred and damaged his body (especially around his shoulders), leaving him with heavy scarring, bandaged arms, shadowed eyes, and permanently weakened pyrokinetic abilities. He can no longer fight with fire effectively and has shifted to sword training instead.

Personality-wise, Konro is calm, stoic, courteous, humble, and level-headed — often acting as a mediator to rein in Benimaru's hot-tempered tendencies. He has a relaxed, laid-back demeanor and shows deep loyalty and willingness to sacrifice for those he cares about, including looking after the young twins Hinata and Hikage.

Physically, he's a tall man (around 188 cm / 6'2") with long black hair usually tied in a ponytail, a prominent horizontal scar across his face, and typically wears traditional Japanese-style clothing like a kimono.
