Benimaru Shinmon

Benimaru Shinmon is one of the most powerful and respected characters in Fire Force.

He's the captain of Special Fire Force Company 7, based in the traditional Asakusa district of Tokyo. Known as "The Mightiest Fire Soldier" or "The King of Asakusa," Benimaru is a hybrid Second and Third Generation pyrokinetic, meaning he can both generate his own flames and manipulate external fire with exceptional precision and strength.

Appearance-wise, he has spiky black hair with red tips, red eyes, and usually wears a traditional happi coat over his fire-resistant uniform, reflecting Asakusa's old-school aesthetic. He's almost always seen with a calm, slightly bored expression and smoking a pipe.

Personality: laid-back, confident, somewhat arrogant, but deeply protective of his district and its people. He dislikes the Tokyo Empire's rules and prefers handling things his own way. Despite his nonchalant attitude, he's extremely serious when it comes to fighting Infernals or protecting innocents, and he's widely feared and admired for his overwhelming combat ability.

He's considered one of the absolute top-tier fighters in the entire series.
