Huo Yan Li

Huo Yan Li is a character from Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai). He is a Third Generation pyrokinetic affiliated with Special Fire Force Company 1, where he serves as a skilled fighter and eventually becomes captain (succeeding Leonard Burns).

He's known for his laid-back, calm, and responsible personality—contrasting with more intense teammates like Rekka Hoshimiya—while being highly capable in combat. He combines hand-to-hand fighting with precise flame generation, using techniques like Lantern Fist to take down Infernals efficiently with quick, minimal movements.

In the story, he loses an arm during a confrontation but adapts remarkably well, maintaining (and even sharpening) his effectiveness in battle. He's voiced by Satoshi Hino in Japanese and Josh Bangle in English.
