Rekka Hoshimiya

Rekka Hoshimiya is a character from Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai). He serves as a lieutenant (Third Generation pyrokinetic) in Special Fire Force Company 1, under Captain Leonard Burns. He's also affiliated with the Holy Sol Temple as a priest-like figure.

On the surface, Rekka appears as an energetic, hot-blooded, confident, and determined firefighter who inspires others (such as motivating Tamaki Kotatsu to join the force). Physically, he's described as a tall, muscular young man with short, spiky dark-red hair, bushy eyebrows, and distinctive star-shaped pupils in his eyes.

However, he is later revealed to be a major antagonist working as an agent for the White-Clad organization. In this role, he secretly conducts cruel experiments by turning people into artificial Infernals in his search for individuals possessing the Adolla Burst. His outward friendly and excitable personality masks a sadistic, insane, and remorseless side with no regard for human life.

He has a relatively early but impactful role in the story (prominent in Season 1), and his actions influence several characters long-term.
