Gajeel Redfox

Gajeel Redfox is one of the most recognizable characters from Fairy Tail.

• Guild: Originally from Phantom Lord (as one of its most powerful members), he later joins Fairy Tail and becomes an official member.
• Magic: Iron Dragon Slayer Magic — he can eat iron/metal to replenish his strength, turn his body into iron, and create iron-based attacks (Iron Dragon's Roar, Iron Dragon's Club, etc.).
• Appearance: Tall, muscular build, long black hair (usually wild/spiky), red eyes with slit pupils, multiple facial and body piercings (giving him a very punk/metalhead vibe), and sharp teeth.
• Personality: Initially extremely antagonistic, rude, violent, and loyal only to himself/Phantom Lord. After joining Fairy Tail, he gradually shows a tough-but-loyal side, dry sense of humor, and surprising soft spot for certain people (especially Levy McGarden).
• Nickname: Often called "Gajeel-kun" by some fans or "Iron Dragon" / "Black Steel".

He's basically the classic "tough guy with a hidden heart of gold" archetype done in classic Hiro Mashima style.
