Jose Porla

Jose Porla is a character from the anime Fairy Tail. He serves as the guild master of Phantom Lord, a powerful (but now disbanded) wizard guild, and acts as the main antagonist during the Phantom Lord arc.

He is an elderly, tall, and slim man with long dark red hair, a thin mustache, and a distinctive flamboyant outfit resembling a mix of a sorcerer and jester, including a large hat bearing the Phantom Lord symbol.

Jose was formerly one of the Ten Wizard Saints (recognized as one of the strongest mages in Fiore) and is roughly equal in power to Fairy Tail's master, Makarov Dreyar. His magic, known as Shade, allows him to create and control ghost-like soldiers and unleash waves of spectral energy.

His main motivation stems from jealousy and resentment toward Fairy Tail, as their rising fame overshadowed Phantom Lord's status as the top guild in the country, leading him to declare war on them.
