Tarsier

Tarsier is a minor antagonist character in Darling in the FranXX. He is one of the Seven Sages (also called the APE council), the shadowy ruling group behind humanity's government and the fight against Klaxosaurs. Named after the primate (and wearing a mask resembling one), he is the shortest member of the council.

He appears in meetings discussing strategy and events like the Gran Crevasse operation. Later in the series, he is revealed to be secretly aligned with the alien entity VIRM (unlike most other Sages who are human). In a key scene, he attempts to assassinate the Klaxosaur Princess (001) but is killed by her in retaliation, with his true nature exposed (his hood/mask shown empty underneath).
