Futoshi

Futoshi (Code: 214) is one of the supporting characters in Darling in the FranXX. He's a Parasite from Plantation 13, initially partnered with Kokoro to pilot the heavy-weapon FranXX called Genista. Later in the series, he switches partners and pilots Chlorophytum with Ikuno.

Personality-wise, Futoshi is kind, polite, optimistic, and laid-back — he tends to go at his own pace and has a friendly, easygoing demeanor that makes him well-liked among the squad. He loves eating (especially bread), takes promises seriously, cares deeply about his teammates, and can be surprisingly sensible and straightforward about what he thinks or feels. Despite facing some emotional challenges (particularly around partnership changes), he shows maturity by forgiving others and remaining supportive.
