Mitsuru

Mitsuru (codename 326) is one of the main characters in Darling in the FranXX. He's a Parasite (child pilot) from Plantation 13, initially partnered with Ikuno to pilot the FRANXX Chlorophytum, and later becomes Kokoro's partner for Genista.

Physically, he has a neat, sharp appearance with olive-brown hair (initially slicked back, later cut shorter), piercing deep green eyes, and a relatively short stature for a male stamen.

Personality-wise, Mitsuru starts off as a quiet, cynical, and arrogant boy full of pride. He deeply resents Hiro due to a childhood promise to pilot together that Hiro seemingly forgot (due to memory issues), and he generally dislikes showing weakness, relying on others, or being pitied. Over the course of the series, his character develops significantly through his relationship with Kokoro, becoming more open, vulnerable, and capable of genuine love and emotional growth. He ultimately prioritizes family and personal meaning beyond just being a pilot.
