Yuudai Moroboshi

Yuudai Moroboshi (also spelled Yūdai Moroboshi) is a third-year student at Bukyoku Academy in Chivalry of a Failed Knight (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry).

He's a B-Rank Blazer nicknamed the "Star of Naniwa" and was the reigning champion (Sword King) of the previous Seven Stars Sword Art Festival, where he notably defeated strong opponents like Touka Toudou. He wields a spear-type Device called Tora-Ō ("Tiger King") and uses a powerful Noble Art called Tiger Bite, which manifests as a tiger that can devour and nullify other magic-based attacks or Devices.

Yuudai has a dramatic backstory: As a child prodigy, he suffered a severe accident that nearly crippled him and forced a four-year retirement from being a Knight. He fought through intense rehabilitation to recover and become even stronger, partly to help his younger sister Koume (who became traumatized and mute due to guilt over the incident). Outside of battles, he helps at his family's okonomiyaki restaurant.

In the story, he serves as a formidable rival during the Seven Stars Sword Art Festival arc.
