Kurono Shinguuji

Kurono Shinguuji (also romanized as Kurono Shinguji) is the director of Hagun Academy in Chivalry of a Failed Knight (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry).

She is a former top-tier Mage-Knight, previously ranked 3rd in the KOK A-League (King of Knights of A-League), where she was known by the title "World Clock" due to her powerful time/causation manipulation abilities as a Blazer.

Kurono is a slim, curvy woman with short dark hair (often in a ponytail with a long bang) and typically wears black clothing. Her personality is notably laid-back and playful—she has a teasing side and enjoys watching student antics (like Ikki and Stella's early roommate dynamic, which she helped set up). Despite her relaxed demeanor, she's serious about protecting and developing the academy's students, including supporting underdogs like Ikki Kurogane by giving him a chance to prove himself and graduate if he wins the Seven Stars Sword Art Festival.

She's married (to Takumi Shinguuji) and has a daughter, having retired from active competition after starting a family before returning to lead her alma mater.
