The story follows Yuke Feldio, a skilled red mage (a support-focused class specializing in buffs, debuffs, enchantments, and utility magic) who's been part of the elite A-rank adventurer party Thunder Pike for five years. Despite his crucial contributions keeping the team alive and succeeding in tough quests, he's constantly ridiculed, underpaid, treated like a disposable handyman, and denied proper reimbursement for his consumables leading to him actually losing money on missions.
Fed up after one insult too many, Yuke dramatically quits the party. Struggling to find new work as a solo red mage (since parties rarely hire them alone), he unexpectedly reunites with three of his former students: Marina (a sword mage), Silk (a dark elf ranger), and Rain (a priestess/mage). They eagerly invite him to join their low-rank (D-rank) all-female party, which they name Clover.
What starts as a fresh start turns into a rising success story. Clover tackles increasingly difficult dungeons and quests, showcasing strong teamwork, Yuke's underrated abilities that shine in a respectful environment, and steady growth in ranks and reputation (helped by live-streaming their adventures). Along the way, they add more members (like a cat-girl scout/thief named Nene), while Thunder Pike starts crumbling without Yuke's support, exposing how much they relied on him and facing potential demotion.
It's a classic underdog redemption tale in a fantasy adventurer world, focusing on themes of appreciation, mentorship, party dynamics, and proving true strength through support roles rather than flashy combat.
