Barry

Barry is a supporting antagonist in the anime I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! (also known as A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu). He serves as the Warrior (main physical fighter/muscle) of the arrogant A-rank adventuring party Thunder Pike, the group that the protagonist Yuke Feldio leaves after years of mistreatment.

In the anime adaptation, Barry is portrayed as a dumb brute, even less intelligent than the party's leader Simon, but equally cruel and self-important. He's a thuggish, violent type who looks down on weaker or newer adventurers, refuses to acknowledge his own flaws or wrongdoing, and goes along with (or actively participates in) the party's toxic behavior. Notably, he supports efforts to coerce Yuke back into the party through intimidation, including making vile threats against Yuke's new companions (such as suggesting sexual violence as leverage).

His role highlights the contrast with Yuke's former life in Thunder Pike, emphasizing the party's entitlement and lack of skill relative to their rank.
