Touko Kanbayashi

Touko Kanbayashi is a supporting antagonist in the anime Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead (appearing primarily in the later episodes of Season 1, during the "Hometown of the Dead" arc).

She is a former municipal office employee who was fired due to her overbearing, nitpicky, and verbally abusive behavior toward coworkers—she constantly belittled others, refused to accept blame, and played the victim when confronted. In the zombie apocalypse, she joins Kanta Higurashi's ruthless group of survivors, who prioritize their own twisted "bucket list" desires over helping others (often at great cost to innocents).

Touko is portrayed as arrogant, self-entitled, ruthless, and unrepentant, with one of her key goals being to destroy her old office building. She wields a chainsaw as a weapon and serves as a direct foil and opponent to Beatrix Amerhauser, clashing with her in a intense confrontation that highlights Touko's refusal to reflect on her flaws or respect differing viewpoints. Her fate ultimately comes from her own actions drawing danger to herself.

Voiced by Manaka Iwami (Japanese) and Kate Clarke (English dub), she's a stark contrast to the main cast's more positive, life-embracing approach to the apocalypse.
