Yuma Tsukumo

Yuma Tsukumo is the main protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. He's an energetic, hot-blooded 13-year-old boy (at the start of the series) who dreams of becoming the world's greatest Duelist, despite starting out as a rather amateurish and unskilled player who often loses and struggles in both school and Duels.

Yuma is cheerful, never-give-up type with a signature catchphrase "kattobingu" (roughly "feeling the flow" or "go all out"), and he approaches challenges with passion and determination. He lives with his grandmother and older sister after his parents went missing on an adventure, and he wears a special pendant called the Emperor's Key.

His journey changes when he partners (somewhat reluctantly at first) with the mysterious Duel spirit Astral, and together they hunt for the "Number" cards to recover Astral's memories while Yuma grows as a Duelist. His ace monster is Number 39: Utopia.
