Thor von Flegel

Thor von Flegel is a supporting character in the anime Wise Man's Grandchild (Kenja no Mago).

He is a childhood friend of Prince August von Earlshide (along with Julius von Littenheim) and serves as one of the prince's serious and loyal escorts/bodyguards. Thor is the eldest son of Baron Flegel and a student in the S-Class at the magic academy, where he ranks 6th overall.

In appearance, he is a short, androgynous-looking teenage boy with silver/white chin-length hair, blue eyes, and silver eyeglasses — his delicate features sometimes lead others (or cause him embarrassment from past incidents) to mistake him for a girl.

Personality-wise, he starts off more reserved and hesitant about speaking casually to August due to status differences, but he grows more confident and outspoken after seeing how freely Shin Wolford interacts with the prince. Thor has a strong aspiration to become a knight and values strength, though he harbors some insecurities about his own appearance (especially compared to more imposing figures like Julius).

He is engaged to a much taller fiancée (creating a comedic "huge girl, tiny guy" dynamic), and he specializes in magic, including wind-based abilities. In the anime, he is voiced by Arisa Shida (Japanese) and Morgan Berry (English).
