About Ryohei Hayashi

Ryohei Hayashi, commonly known as Peh-yan (or Peyan), is a supporting character in the Tokyo Revengers anime. He serves as the vice-captain of the Third Division of the Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman), working closely under his best friend and captain, Haruki Hayashida (Pah-chin).

In the anime's depiction, Peh-yan is portrayed as a tall teenager with short blonde hair and a notably intimidating presence. His eyes often give off a sad yet fierce expression, contributing to his menacing vibe. Personality-wise, he's short-tempered, aggressive, quick to act (often rashly), and not particularly book-smart, but he's fiercely loyal—especially to Pah-chin. This loyalty drives much of his behavior, sometimes leading him into emotionally charged decisions that impact the gang.

He's a tough fighter with a strong sense of camaraderie toward his close friends, though his hot-headed nature can make him easy to provoke. In the anime (particularly in arcs like the Moebius conflict and beyond), his actions highlight both his devotion and the consequences of acting on impulse without fully thinking things through.
