Dubs

Dubs is a character from The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) anime, specifically appearing in the movie The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light (the second film, released in 2021 and available on Netflix).

He is a renowned master craftsman from the Giant Clan, known for forging incredibly powerful magical items and weapons. Despite being a giant, he is notably shorter than typical members of his race (around human-like scale in appearance, often described as small for a giant at about 280 cm in some sources).

His notable creations include:

• The Coffin of Eternal Darkness (a key artifact used in the ancient Holy War to seal the Demon Clan).
• Lostvayne, Meliodas's Sacred Treasure sword.

In the anime movie, Dubs teams up with Dahlia (the Second Fairy King) under the influence/brainwashing of the Supreme Deity. They lead forces of fairies and giants against the Seven Deadly Sins and allies, aiming to punish them for "ruining" the Holy War and to restart conflict. Dubs fights primarily against Meliodas (using his knowledge of Lostvayne against him) before the brainwashing is broken.

Personality-wise, he's generally portrayed as cool, calm, collected, serious, and focused—dry and uninterested in things outside his craft.
