Siegfried

Siegfried (full name Siegfried Housman in some sources) is a key antagonist in the anime The Sacred Blacksmith (Seiken no Blacksmith).

He is a recently promoted commander from the Empire, portrayed as a ruthless, war-hawkish military figure who serves as the primary source of conflict throughout the series. He often appears as a mysterious cloaked figure early on, orchestrating events behind the scenes, and wields a powerful Demon Sword (specifically the Demon Sword of Corruption). Siegfried is depicted as a cold, arrogant, and Nietzsche-inspired villain who embraces darker philosophies, wearing predominantly black attire that emphasizes his menacing presence. He has silver/gray hair (often to chest length) and blue eyes.

In the story, his ambitions and actions drive much of the tension, putting him in direct opposition to the protagonists like Cecily Cambell and Luke Ainsworth.
