Lisa Oakwood

Lisa Oakwood is a key character from the anime The Sacred Blacksmith (Seiken no Blacksmith), primarily appearing in flashbacks and referenced throughout the story.

She was Luke Ainsworth's childhood best friend and first love, depicted as a cheerful, kind-hearted girl with a strong sense of justice. She aspired to become a knight and protect the people of her town and those she cared about.

Four years before the main events, she and Luke encountered the demon Valbanill in a cave. Mortally wounded during the incident, Lisa used her "death phrase" to perform a Demonic Pact, sacrificing herself to save Luke's life and create the demon girl named Lisa (who greatly resembles her in appearance, with long blonde hair, purple eyes, and elven-like ears). This act stemmed from her deep desire to protect Luke forever.

Her personality and protective spirit are often paralleled with the protagonist Cecily Campbell, whom Luke notes reminds him strongly of Lisa Oakwood. She appears mainly in episode 9 and in Luke's memories, voiced by Hinako Sasaki (Japanese) and Monica Rial (English).
