Evadne

Evadne is a supporting character in the anime The Sacred Blacksmith (also known as Seiken no Blacksmith), appearing primarily in episodes involving Princess Charlotte.

She is a Demon Sword known as the Demon Sword of Black Flames (or Demon Sword of the Black Flame), capable of taking human form, similar to the protagonist sword spirit Aria. In her human appearance, Evadne has long black hair, pale skin, purple eyes, and an overall striking yet somber look. She is notably morose, taciturn, and quiet, speaking very little and projecting a dark, reserved demeanor.

She serves as a bodyguard and personal attendant to Siegfried (and is wielded/possessed by Princess Charlotte in the story). To transform into her sword form, she chants a dramatic incantation: "Shake off your slumber, cloak yourself in darkness, bring yourself the end and kill God." Her powers involve black flames, aligning with her ominous, destructive nature.

In the anime, she acts as an antagonist force in confrontations, particularly clashing with the main characters like Cecily and Aria.
