Saphir Maasa

Saphir Maasa (also known as Saphir) is one of the twin princesses from the water/dragon kingdom of Maasa in the Tales of Wedding Rings anime. She becomes the fourth wife of the protagonist Satou (the Ring King) by taking on the role of Ring Princess for the Ring of Water.

She steps up to marry Satou out of duty—to protect her country from external threats (like the Empire) and allow her twin sister Saphira to be with the person she loves (Prince Marse). Saphir is portrayed as a powerful magic user with strong water-based abilities (and dragon traits, including horns and the potential to transform into a dragon form).

Personality-wise, she's blunt, rude, and straightforward, often speaking her mind without filter, but this hides a caring side (especially toward her sister and eventually Satou)—classic tsundere vibes. She's also notably lazy and laid-back despite her intelligence and magical prowess, and she's quite unembarrassed about revealing outfits or situations.

In the anime, she's voiced by Ai Kakuma (Japanese) and Brittney Karbowski (English).
