Park Kyung-Hye

Park Kyung-Hye (also romanized as Park Kyunghye or Bak Gyeonghye) is Sung Jin-woo's mother in the Solo Leveling anime.

She is a kind, selfless, and deeply loving parent who prioritizes her children's well-being above all else. Before the story's events, she fell victim to a rare, mana-induced illness called Eternal Slumber, an incurable sleeping disorder that left her in a coma for about four years. This condition heavily motivated Jin-woo to become a hunter and risk his life repeatedly to cover her massive hospital bills and support the family.

In the anime (particularly noticeable in Season 2), she appears as a middle-aged woman with long black hair, a slender build, and a gentle demeanor. Her awakening from the coma is an emotional highlight, showing her immediate concern for her daughter Jin-ah upon regaining consciousness.

She has limited screen time overall but serves as a key emotional anchor for Jin-woo's character and backstory. (Voiced by Yuri Amano in Japanese and Colleen Clinkenbeard in English.)
