Go Gunhee

Go Gunhee (also spelled Go Gun-Hee) is a major supporting character in the Solo Leveling anime. He is the chairman of the Korean Hunters Association and a retired S-Rank hunter—once regarded as the strongest in Korea during his prime.

In the anime's portrayal, he appears as an elderly but still impressively muscular man in his 80s, with gray hair, greenish-gray eyes, numerous battle scars across his body (including on his head and neck), and a commanding presence. He is typically seen dressed in formal attire like a three-piece suit, reflecting his high-ranking official role.

Personality-wise, Go Gunhee is humble, honest, open, and deeply principled—he greatly respects people with strong morals and integrity while disliking those motivated purely by self-interest. This leads to a positive, mentor-like relationship with Sung Jinwoo, whom he admires and supports early on (even trying to recruit him to the Association). He's widely respected in society for his wise leadership, calm demeanor, and dedication to protecting others, despite health issues (like heart problems) that forced his retirement from active hunting.

He possesses immense power for his age, including Ruler's Authority (telekinesis), and maintains an awe-inspiring aura that even impresses Jinwoo.
