Blood-Red Commander Igris

Blood-Red Commander Igris (also called Igris the Bloodred in the anime) is a major boss character in Solo Leveling, appearing prominently in the Job Change Quest arc (around Episode 11 of Season 1).

In the anime adaptation, he is depicted as an imposing, slender, and exceptionally tall knight fully clad in striking blood-red armor that gives him his title. His design features sharp, angular lines with a dusty, battle-worn look from centuries of guarding duty. He wears a helmet adorned with four horns (one broken), a Y-shaped visor revealing intense glowing white eyes, and a long flowing red plume trailing from the back. A tattered red cape extends down to his calves, adding to his regal yet menacing presence.

Igris wields a massive bronze-colored greatsword roughly equal to his own height, which he handles with effortless strength and precision, complemented by concealed daggers on his belt. His overall appearance emphasizes overwhelming power, chivalrous demeanor, and silent intensity—he's a formidable guardian of an empty throne, serving as a test for Sung Jinwoo during the pivotal job-change sequence.

This armored knight form is his signature look in the anime before any later transformations as a shadow soldier.
