Emilia

Emilia is one of the main heroines of Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World.

She is a silver-haired half-elf with amethyst-purple eyes and a very gentle, kind-hearted personality. She appears delicate and beautiful, often described as looking like a fairy or doll, but her appearance frequently causes prejudice and discrimination against her because she strongly resembles the legendary Witch of Envy, Satella (who also had silver hair).

Emilia is a candidate in the Royal Selection to become the next ruler of Lugunica. She is earnest, compassionate, somewhat naïve, and tends to put others before herself, often to her own detriment. She carries deep loneliness and self-doubt due to her heritage and the constant suspicion she faces.

She is accompanied by Puck, her powerful great spirit companion who acts as both protector and parental figure. Emilia becomes Subaru Natsuki's primary motivation and emotional anchor after he is summoned to the new world.
