Wikstrom

Wikstrom is a member of the Kalos region's Elite Four in the Pokémon anime. He specializes in Steel-type Pokémon and embodies a strong knightly theme.

In appearance, he's a tall, heavily built man with black spiked hair, pale skin, and bright blue eyes. He always wears full silver and gold knight's armor (inherited from his family lineage of knights), giving him a very medieval, chivalrous look even outside of battle.

Personality-wise, he's highly honorable, chivalrous, and noble—speaking in a formal, somewhat archaic/shakespearean style and valuing fair, respectful battles. He has a strong spirit of chivalry, believes in upholding honorable conduct to achieve greater strength, and is kind and supportive, especially toward young Trainers seeking growth.

In the anime, he notably runs the "Castle of Chivalry" (a training ground/facility) where he coaches Pokémon and Trainers to build true strength and wisdom. He appears more prominently in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, where he helps train Ash's Farfetch'd (leading toward its evolution into Sirfetch'd) and Goh's Scyther, showcasing his role as a mentor figure who recognizes and nurtures potential in others. He had a minor cameo earlier in the movie Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.
