Viola

Viola is the Bug-type Gym Leader of the Santalune Gym in the Kalos region, appearing in the Pokémon anime during the XY series.

She's a professional photographer who loves capturing moments (including battles and smiles) with her camera, and her Gym is decorated with her photos. She's the younger sister of Alexa (the journalist who travels with Ash and friends for a time).

In personality, she's kind-hearted, cheerful, friendly, and enthusiastic, but she becomes intensely focused and strategic during battles. She uses clever tactics with her Bug Pokémon (primarily Surskit and Vivillon) and gives challengers like Ash a tough first Gym challenge in the anime.
