Professor Juniper

Professor Juniper (full name Professor Aurea Juniper) is the resident Pokémon Professor in the Unova region during the Pokémon the Series: Black & White anime.

She is a dedicated researcher who specializes in Pokémon origins and studies, often working from her lab in Nuvema Town. In the anime, she is portrayed as a kind, helpful, and welcoming figure — she greets newcomers warmly and supports young trainers starting their journeys.

She first appears in the Black & White series premiere ("In The Shadow of Zekrom!"), where she is already an old friend of Professor Oak. She assists Ash (including examining his unwell Pikachu), shows him the Unova starter Pokémon (Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott), and later gives out starters to other trainers like Trip.

She is generally cheerful, caring toward both Pokémon and people, and occasionally demonstrates strong battling skills when the situation calls for it. Her appearance includes tall stature, fair skin, green eyes, voluminous honey-blonde hair, and her signature pale greenish-blue lab coat over a white blouse, paired with a short green skirt.
