Agatha is a member of the Kanto Elite Four in the Pokémon anime. She appears in Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire (specifically in the episode "The Scheme Team"), where she temporarily serves as the stand-in Gym Leader for Viridian City Gym after Giovanni's absence.

She is portrayed as an elderly woman with short yellow/blonde hair, typically using a cane for support, and dressed in a purple outfit (sometimes described with a white apron or similar details). As an Elite Four member, she specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon, with her most prominent one shown being Gengar, which she uses in a battle against Ash's Pikachu (defeating it through clever moves like Hypnosis and Dream Eater).
