Korrina

Korrina is the Gym Leader of Shalour City in the Kalos region, appearing prominently in the Pokémon the Series: XY anime (and with some later cameos in Pokémon Journeys). She specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon, particularly her loyal partner Lucario, which she eventually masters Mega Evolution with.

In the anime, she's portrayed as a hyperactive, cheerful, and energetic girl who loves zooming around on roller skates (often leading to funny mishaps or crashes). She's very upbeat, friendly, and determined, with a strong bond with her Lucario that drives much of her character growth—especially during her arc focused on learning to properly use Mega Evolution under her grandfather Gurkinn's guidance.

She temporarily travels with Ash and his friends while pursuing Lucarionite and understanding the Mega Evolution process, and she later serves as Ash's official Shalour Gym opponent in a full battle. Overall, she's one of the more lively and personality-driven Gym Leaders in the XY series, often acting like an enthusiastic big-sister figure with a similar spirited vibe to Ash himself.
