Nefertari Vivi

Nefertari Vivi (often just called Vivi) is the princess of the Arabasta Kingdom in the One Piece anime.

In her initial anime appearance (around the early Grand Line arcs), she debuts under the alias Miss Wednesday as part of the criminal organization Baroque Works, initially seeming like an antagonist and bounty hunter alongside her partner Mr. 9. She has long, wavy light blue hair (usually tied in a ponytail during her travels) with two distinctive locks hanging down on either side of her face, fair skin, brown eyes, and a slender build. She tends to wear practical, less revealing outfits compared to some other female characters.

Her true identity is soon revealed: she's a brave, compassionate royal who infiltrated Baroque Works undercover to uncover the plot threatening her drought-stricken country and her father, King Cobra. Vivi is deeply caring, loyal to her people, and willing to risk everything to protect them—often prioritizing her kingdom's well-being over her own safety or comfort. She's kind-hearted, determined, and honorable, though she can be a bit naive at times about conflict resolution and tends to shoulder burdens alone. She temporarily travels with the Straw Hat Pirates during the Alabasta Saga, forming strong bonds with them (especially Luffy), before choosing to stay behind to help rebuild and lead her nation.

In the anime's portrayal (pre-timeskip focus), she's remembered as a grounded, non-stereotypical princess who's courageous and empathetic rather than spoiled or distant.
