Lain Sheyka (Dust)

Lain Sheyka, better known by his alias Dust, is a supporting character in KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!.

He is a warrior adventurer based in Axel, part of a party with Taylor, Keith, and Rin. Dust has a reputation as a delinquent troublemaker—often drunk, involved in petty schemes, frequently arrested, and known for his perverted, laid-back, hedonistic behavior.

His real identity is that of an exiled noble and former royal knight/Dragon Knight from the Kingdom of Brydle. In his past life as Lain Sheyka, he was a serious, rule-following, straitlaced individual who rose through the ranks despite coming from a poor noble family. A misunderstanding involving a princess (famously "kidnapping" her for a dragon ride before her wedding) led to his disgrace and exile, after which he abandoned his strict ways and embraced a carefree lifestyle in Axel.

He also has a loyal golden dragon companion and is notably skilled with a spear (his true specialty), though he often uses a sword poorly for comedic effect. Dust gets more focus in the Limelight (or Kyakkou) spinoff series centered on him.
