Kazuma Satou

Kazuma Satou is the main protagonist of KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!.

He's a Japanese teenage shut-in who dies in an embarrassingly mundane way (getting startled by a tractor he mistakes for a truck) and ends up in a fantasy world after meeting the goddess Aqua. Instead of choosing a powerful cheat item or ability, he pragmatically picks Aqua herself to bring along—mostly out of spite.

Personality-wise, Kazuma is:

• Extremely sarcastic and cynical
• Lazy and prefers easy solutions over heroic effort
• Surprisingly clever and resourceful in combat/situations
• Not above shady tactics, stealing, or running away when things get bad
• Deep down somewhat caring toward his party, though he'd never admit it openly

He's basically the opposite of a typical overpowered isekai hero: average stats, no special destiny, and a very grounded, flawed, self-aware attitude that makes him both relatable and hilariously abrasive.
