Yunyun

Yunyun is a supporting character in KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!.

She is a young Crimson Demon Clan mage (same village as Megumin) and is technically the daughter of the village chief, making her the "next chief candidate." Despite her impressive magical talent — especially her mastery of extremely powerful intermediate and advanced spells — she is painfully shy, socially awkward, and desperate for friends.

Her defining trait is that she constantly tries (and usually fails) to make friends by dramatically challenging people to duels or loudly declaring herself lonely. This leads to many comedic misunderstandings. She has a one-sided friendly rivalry with Megumin, whom she considers her closest (and often only) friend, even though Megumin usually brushes her off or teases her.
