Ni and Li

Ni and Li are minor characters in High School DxD, serving as two of Riser Phenex's Pawn pieces in his peerage.

They are twin girls (appearing to be in their teens) and former Nekomata (cat youkai), which is why they retain cute cat ears (light brown with black stripes). As reincarnated devils, they fight in the Rating Game against Rias Gremory's group in the early story (Volume 2/anime Season 1).

• Ni has blue hair (tied in a ponytail), red eyes, and blue-colored earrings on her right ear.
• Li has red hair (in a braid with a pink bow), blue eyes, and two gold earrings on her left ear.

They specialize in close combat/hand-to-hand fighting and are eventually defeated in battles (including by Issei and Yuuto, and later by Koneko in a rematch scenario due to their shared Nekomata background). They're loyal to Riser and add to his team's catgirl flair alongside other pawns.
