Belzard

Belzard is a legendary past wielder of the Boosted Gear (the Sacred Gear housing the Red Dragon Emperor Ddraig) in High School DxD. He is regarded as the strongest male Red Dragon Emperor in history—and often considered the overall strongest Red Dragon Emperor ever—having defeated two separate White Dragon Emperors (hosts of Albion) during his lifetime.

He appears as a tall, muscular, handsome man with green/turquoise hair and pink eyes, dressed in a stylish black noble uniform with a red cape. In the anime (particularly High School DxD Hero), he has a very minor role, mostly appearing in spiritual/illusionary forms within the Boosted Gear to interact with or advise Issei Hyoudou, the current host.

Belzard is one of the previous hosts whose spirit supports Ddraig and Issei from within the Sacred Gear, alongside figures like Elsha (the strongest female Red Dragon Emperor, who is second only to him in power among past hosts).
