Azazel

Azazel is a major character in High School DxD. He is the former Governor General of the Fallen Angels and their organization, Grigori.

He appears as a tall, handsome man in his twenties with an average build, black hair featuring golden bangs, a black goatee, and twelve jet-black feathered wings (the most among Fallen Angels shown).

His personality is complex and multifaceted: laid-back and casual, yet serious and wise when needed; he's a research fanatic (especially obsessed with Sacred Gears), pacifistic (preferring negotiation over fighting), charismatic, and somewhat perverted (with a noted interest in breasts and past harems). He fell from Heaven originally due to lust after relations with a human woman.

In the story, he serves as an advisor to the Occult Research Club, a teacher at Kuoh Academy (chemistry), and plays a key role in promoting peace among the Three Factions (devils, angels, fallen angels). He is highly intelligent, strategic, and cares deeply for his subordinates and allies.
