Dwarf Shaman

Dwarf Shaman (also called "Dwarf" or "Kouhito Doushi") is one of the main supporting characters in the Goblin Slayer anime/light novel series.

He's a Silver-ranked dwarf adventurer and spellcaster who joins Goblin Slayer's party alongside High Elf Archer and Lizard Priest. Despite his short stature, he has a sturdy, muscular build, a long braided beard (often stroked as a habit), and typically carries a wine gourd. His clothing has an Eastern-inspired look.

Personality-wise, he's cheerful, friendly, brave, and proud of his dwarven heritage. He's an enthusiastic drinker (especially fond of strong liquors like fire wine) and frequently bickers playfully with High Elf Archer, though he shows a more mature, supportive side when needed. Like most dwarves in the setting, he has deep knowledge of metals, stones, mining, and alcohol, and he despises goblins as natural enemies of his kind.

In combat, he serves as the party's primary spellcaster, using earth- and spirit-based magic (such as Stone Blast to hurl enchanted rocks or spells to induce sleep), while also being capable in melee with tools like a sling or handaxe when conserving spells.

He originally became an adventurer to explore exotic foods and flavors to pair with his beloved drinks.
