Heavy Warrior

Heavy Warrior (also known as Jūsenshi in Japanese) is a supporting character in the Goblin Slayer anime (and the light novel/manga series).

He's a Silver-ranked adventurer, one of the higher-tier ones in the guild's ranking system. He's often partnered with Female Knight and is portrayed as a tall, muscular fighter with short black hair, a scarred face, and heavy black armor complete with a cape. True to his name, he wields a massive greatsword/heavy sword for powerful melee combat.

Personality-wise, he's gruff and straightforward on the surface, getting a real thrill from battling strong opponents. But he has a caring, protective side—he looks out for newer/younger adventurers (even if it risks his own reputation) and has deep feelings for his partner, Female Knight. He shows respect toward Goblin Slayer (unlike some others who mock his goblin-only focus) and has helped in major events, partly because Goblin Slayer once saved his village from goblins.

He's a classic tough-but-reliable frontline warrior type in the story's dark fantasy world.
