Yukiteru Amano

Yukiteru Amano (often called Yuki or Yukki) is the main male protagonist of the anime/manga Future Diary (Mirai Nikki).

He's a 14-year-old middle school student with a shy, introverted, and timid personality. He prefers to observe life from the sidelines rather than actively participate, spending much of his time recording events and observations in a diary on his cell phone (which becomes his "Random Diary" or "Observance Diary" in the survival game).

Yukiteru is generally passive, lacks confidence, and becomes easily distressed, tearful, or fearful in dangerous or traumatic situations. He tends to rely on others (especially Yuno Gasai) for protection rather than confronting threats head-on. Over the course of the story, he undergoes significant development as he's forced to face his fears and make tough choices in the deadly Diary Game.

He's often described as a realistic "crybaby" or observer-type protagonist rather than a typical bold shonen hero.
