Sein

Sein is a talented human priest who temporarily joins Frieren's party in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End. He's a man in his thirties with a laid-back, easygoing personality and a signature deadpan expression. Despite his vices—like enjoying alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, and an interest in older women—he's highly skilled in healing magic (considered naturally gifted) and serves as a mature, insightful adult figure in the group.

Sein is notably perceptive about human emotions and relationship dynamics, often acting as a mediator or giving grounded advice (especially to the younger members like Fern and Stark). He carries regrets from his past, including not adventuring with his childhood friend (nicknamed "Gorilla" or Kreis) when he had the chance, and he eventually leaves the party to search for that friend. His straightforward "dirty adult" self-view contrasts nicely with the more stoic or youthful members of the group.
