Ikumi Mito

Ikumi Mito is a supporting character in Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma.

She is a second-year student at Tōtsuki Culinary Academy and the 19th generation heir of the Mito Meat Company, one of Japan's most prestigious meat suppliers.

Key traits and appearance:

• Nicknamed the "Meat Master" or "Queen of Meat" due to her exceptional expertise with meat-based dishes.
• She has long blonde hair (initially styled in a high ponytail), a confident and somewhat arrogant demeanor, and is often seen wearing her signature red bikini top and denim shorts during cooking battles (a stylistic choice reflecting her bold personality).
• She starts off as a rival to the protagonist, Soma Yukihira, looking down on him as an amateur.

Personality: Ikumi is initially proud, competitive, and dismissive of those she considers beneath her skill level. Over time, especially after losing a shokugeki (cooking duel) to Soma, she softens, becomes more humble, and develops a friendly (and slightly teasing) relationship with him and the Polar Star Dorm residents. She also shows a loyal and caring side toward her friends and family business.

In short, Ikumi is the talented, meat-specializing "bad girl" of Tōtsuki who gradually grows into a more approachable and supportive character throughout the series.
