Eishi Tsukasa

Eishi Tsukasa is one of the most prominent characters in Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma. He is the former First Seat of Tōtsuki Academy's Elite Ten Council (the top student chef position) and is widely regarded as a genius-level cook.

Despite his overwhelming talent—often described as having "godlike" skill in handling ingredients and creating flawless dishes by completely erasing his own ego from the cooking process—Eishi has a surprisingly timid, anxious, and self-doubting personality outside the kitchen. He frequently feels stressed, overwhelmed by responsibility, and convinced he doesn't truly deserve his top rank, often worrying excessively and lacking confidence in non-culinary matters.

He specializes in French cuisine and is nicknamed "The White Knight of the Table." He has white hair, icy blue eyes, and usually appears calm and composed on the surface (with a somewhat disheveled uniform style). Later in the series, he plays major roles in both antagonistic and allied capacities during key arcs.

In short: an incredibly skilled but extremely humble/nervous perfectionist who panics about everything except actually cooking.
